Ideal for electronics manufacturing and assembly operations, these solid interlocking rubber mats combine electrostatic dissipative properties with grease resistance. The GR (Grease Resistant) compound handles water and light oils while maintaining static control properties, making these grease resistant ESD mats effective for electronics manufacturing environments.
These solid surface grease resistant mats for assembly lines provide both electrical safety mats functionality and non slip mat performance in production facilities.
The solid interlocking rubber mats feature a solid surface design that prevents fluid penetration, while the rubber floor tiles' construction offers durability in demanding environments. These grease resistant industrial mats protect sensitive components from electrostatic discharge, making them suitable as mats for electrical safety in electronics assembly. The design of ergonomic mats reduces worker fatigue during extended periods at workstations and testing areas.
These solid interlocking rubber mats work as static dissipative floor matting for workstations where workers need both ESD protection and resistance to common industrial fluids. The oil resistant floor mats properties, combined with static control, make them suitable for manufacturing environments. These grease resistant mats function effectively in electronics assembly lines, testing stations, and repair areas.

Call 1-888-413-7317A Connection System That Keeps Your Mats Together
The ‘positive interlock’ technology allows the rubber tiles to lock in while remaining easy enough to ‘unzip’ for reconfiguration. Around electronics keeping a work area clean is very important. The LockSafe connection system allows the mat to be rolled up to make keeping a cleaning easier.

Q: DO I NEED CONDUCTIVE OR STATIC DISSIPATIVE FLOORING?
A: From a technical point of view, the answer is to confirm the OHM rating required by your application, then choose the product that meets your required OHM rating. Conductive products have a lower OHM rating. That means that there is less resistance and therefore, conductive products will allow static electricity to ground out faster than a static dissipative product, which has a higher OHM rating, and therefore higher resistance.
Q: WHAT DOES THE OHM RATING TELL ME?
A: An OHM is a unit of measure that defines electrical resistance between two points. The lower the OHM reading the lower the resistance to electricity passing through and therefore the faster electricity can pass through to ground. There is a specific range of OHM ratings that define the difference between a conductive product and a static dissipative product. Choose the product which has an OHM rating that meets the requirements of your application.
Q: WHAT IS ESD?
A: ESD (Electrostatic discharge) is the sudden flow of electricity between two electrically charged objects caused by contact. ESD is the cause for that annoying "zap" you get when you reach for a metal door handle. Your body and clothing accumulate static electricity. That static electricity desperately wants to reach a ground point. ESD matting and flooring is intended to prevent unintentional discharges of static electricity by creating a path to ground through your body and out through the mat or floor for static electricity that is accumulated in your body and clothing.
Q: DO I STILL NEED HEEL GROUNDING STRAPS?
A: To allow the flow of electricity to reach a ground source, a heel strap must be worn if the operator is wearing non-conductive soled shoes.
Q: Is there edging available?
A: Yes, 3" edging is available in both yellow and black for 24/Seven LockSafe. Edging comes in both male and female to correspond with the male or female side of the mat. Edging comes in 3" wide by 36" long strips.
Q: Are these mats suitable for electrical safety applications?
A: These are mats for electrical safety in the context of ESD protection for electronics manufacturing, not high voltage insulation. They protect sensitive components from static discharge during assembly and testing. For high voltage electrical work or switchboard matting, you need insulated rubber matting for switchboards or high voltage safety mats for electrical rooms that are voltage-rated for those specific applications.
Q: What makes grease resistant ESD mats different from standard ESD mats?
A: The GR compound adds resistance to water and light oils while maintaining static control properties. This makes them suitable for electronics assembly areas where both ESD protection and resistance to cleaning fluids or light industrial oils are needed.
Q: Can I use these as static dissipative floor matting for my workstations?
A: Yes, these function as static dissipative floor matting for workstations in electronics manufacturing. The dissipative range of 1x10^6 to 1x10^10 ohms provides the appropriate level of static control for component handling and assembly operations, while the solid surface design offers grease resistance.
Q: What's the difference between these ESD mats and insulated rubber matting for switchboards?
A: These are ESD mats designed to dissipate static electricity to protect sensitive electronics. Insulated rubber matting for switchboards serves the opposite purpose. It provides high-voltage insulation to protect workers from electrical shock. ESD mats have low resistance (to allow static to flow to ground), while switchboard matting has very high resistance (to block dangerous voltage).
